I’m Iago, a digital product and graphic designer from Salvador, Brazil, based in São Paulo. I’ve been working for more than ten years, and for more than five I’ve designed financial products used by millions of people: Open Finance consent journeys and Pix features at Mercado Pago, and the core home experience at Guiabolso.

I studied Design at Universidade Federal de Sergipe, where I fell for typography, editorial design and illustration. My graduation project was an illustrated children’s book about non-violent communication, a topic very dear to me. That’s where I learned to think of design centered on people. With time, I also learned that reality calls for flexibility.

Outside product work, I’m a music enthusiast and co-founded Tandera Records, an independent electronic music label in São Paulo, where I manage the label’s releases, events and projects.
